HaPpy HaLloWeeN!!!!!

This year I realized that Halloween is no longer on Oct. 31st only but, that Halloween last all WEEK! I normally love Halloween, not because I like to dress up, actually I very rarely do and if I do I'm a total downer and I feel like a complete idiot, maybe because I have never found a really fun, unique, original costume? I do however love going to all the fun Halloween parties, seeing all the kids doped up on sugar running around like crazy all dressed up, I love all the different costumes and seeing peoples creative side come out. But, this year it seemed like it was never going to end! Not that it wasn't all fun but, man! So much preparation and then the school partied, dance parties, etc. and my kids lose parts of their costumes every 5 minutes and I'm the one running around looking for it all so we can be ready for the next event! This year we went to Grandma & Grandpa Royce's house to carve our pumpkins, we have for the last few years and we always have so much fun! JR & Kristi carve the most amazing things!

Kristi's is the Corps Bride one, Jr hadn't started his yet.

Next we had our neighborhood party at Kelly's, this is my COWBOY! He look so funny, we found the tightest wranglers he could fit into and the ugliest purple striped shirt with a huge belt buckle and topped it all off with some big boots and a straw hat. I never realized it but we never got a picture of US after we were ALL dressed up?! I was an Indian.

We had a donut eating contest....

Then Chanel had a Halloween party at her dance class. You can barely see her on the very end.

Then she had her school Halloween party...

The next day James had his party and a Halloween parade.
Friday night Rory and I went to a few Halloween parties while Grandma babysat all the kiddies, I had to come home a bit early because I had laryngitis and COMPLETELY lost my voice! I wasn't feeling too good. But, we still had fun.

Jameson was a dead Moto X racer.

Chanel was a KITTY for the second time in a row. She LOVE kitties...

Rori was a monkey...
Then we were off! The kids went trick or treating with daddy while I maintained the spook ally Rory did up for the second year. He makes a maze throughout the garage and the kids LOVE it!! We get tons of people driving to our house so they can go through it. You wouldn't think you could do so much with so little space but, every year it turns out great!

That night we had family over for dip (thanks Becca) and to visit. In all it was a wonderful Halloween, I cant wait for next year...

Rori Ana...

I just wanted to do a quick post before I forget, I don't have much time before I hear screaming and things breaking and kids fight so here it goes.

I just want to say that my little Rori Ana is the best! She is finally back to her lovely little self (thank goodness!) and she has been so cute and funny. Here are a few things I don't want to forget about her right now.

I love when she walks up to me with her blankie and puts it on my lap and says "up" so I will hold her. She loves to cuddle with me.

I love when she yells at the older kids! I know that's awful but she is SO serious and she points at them and yells gibberish and if they don't listen she runs over and smacks them around. Its funny because after that the kids will usually do what she says even though they don't understand a thing she is saying!

I love that when Ava starts to cry she runs over and says "ooooh... shhhhhh" and if I come over to see why Ava is crying she tells me "NO" because she already has it handled.

I love that she loves shoes so much! And she likes shopping and dressing up.

Its so cute when her daddy walks in the door from work she does this little dance where she stomps her feet really fast and spins in circles and sings "Daaaadddyyy Daaaadddyyy!"

I love when she wants something and she will come grab your finger and drag you to what she wants and say "uh uh" and point.

I love it when she dances.
Here are some of the cute things she is saying now (when she feels like it):

No
Uh oh
Yayyy!
Daddy
Momma
Jashaaa (Jameson)
Nel (Chanel)
Aba (Ava)
titty (kitty)
up
Jooojeee (Do G)
Nana
Apple
waasaaa (whats that)
taytoo (thank you)
I'm sure there are more and I will remember them later but I just wanted to take a minute to put some of them down. Ive been trying to all week!

Lake Powell 09'

Forgive me for having to post all these pictures in a dozen different posts but, I posted them off of picasa and I cant for the life of me figure out how to put them all in one post.

Friday we decided last minute to go to Lake Powell, we hadn't been this year and we usually go at least once a year. We were a little worried about the weather but, we decided to chance it. I am so happy we did! We had a blast, it was perfect. Sunday was a little windy but not bad at all. It was a fast trip, too fast, we mainly went down to look at a houseboat we are thinking about buying into. Looks like we are going to go with it!! Hopefully next year we will be able to make it down a few times!! This week we are going to accept the fact that it is getting cold. We will be winterizing our boat and putting all of our summer fun, clothes, toys etc. away. BOOOHOOO! I am SO not ready for this! I look forward to all of the Holidays coming up and all the time we will be able to have together (meaning we will have NO choice but to be locked up in this house together!!) and not having so much planned on our schedule. However I am not looking forward to taking an hour getting ready to go outside only to go out for 5 min. and come running back into the house. Or having to warm up the car to go anywhere and praying the whole way there that some idiot doesn't come plowing into you due to the bad weather. Or even worse... that your the idiot that plows into someone else!! I just don't like all the preparation you have to go into the cold weather. I don't like the COLD! Ugh... Here I go again. I think I have this very same post, word for word last year around this time.
Anyway.... We had a lot of fun and this winter should be a BALL!! (note the sarcasm)
