Right now Jameson has handkerchiefs in his mouth (kankers). He is a month away from graduating 2nd grade then its off to third grade! He is making lots of new friends at school and some friends I like more than others. He has had questions about the "f" word, smoking, different churches and bullying. Like I said, some friends I like more than others. But, I'm proud to say he stands up for what he believes in and has made the right decisions. He is very open with me and isn't embarrassed to ask or talk about things. I hope it stays this way. Im afraid im not quite ready for this.
Chanel wants to go Las Begas with her girl friends for her SIXTH birthday?! Not sure where she got that? Rory and I don't even like Vegas at all. She talks about clothes and what is "poplar". Silly girl.
I have decided to cut McDonald's out of our diet (with the exception of my coke here or there. At least I'm trying)I told Rori Ana this and she looked at me like I had completely lost my mind. I told her the food was made out of plastic and I didn't want to eat it anymore. It's hard because we pass a McDonald's every five minutes where we live. There is even one right when you leave our neighborhood that we pass by multiple times a day. So last time we passed it she yelled out "Mom!! Stop and det me a bweakfast burrdito!!!" I reminded her we won't be eating there anymore and she says "Nooooo!!! I wuv my pwastic burrditos!!!".
Ava Lyn has always had a love for sesame street, Dora and Mickey mouse clubhouse. But, she recently found a show she likes even more. You may have heard of it? It's The Price Is Right!!! She screams every time someone comes running down from the audience, she squeals when they get a chance at a new car and she jumps up and down when the contestants do. This is one thing I hope she never grows out of because it's really entertaining to watch. She is also addicted to the iPad. This has got to stop. She hides away under tables and in closets for long periods of time with the iPads and we have to listen for the sounds of the game she's playing to find her. She hasn't figured out that's how we know where she is yet. She begs all day for it and she knows how to use it better than I do.
So, in a nut shell... I have one kid who is hanging out with the wrong crowd and I need to put a stop to it real quick. I have a popular six year old planning a trip to Vegas with her friends, I have a three year old mad at me for not getting her beloved plastic breakfast burritos and my two year old that is an iPad junkie.
Life is good!!!
