Im 6 Mom! S. I. X. 6!!!

That is what I keep hearing today! I try so hard to put on a genuine smile but I know that it looks silly. My baby boy is 6. I cant believe how fast time has flown, I remember when he was born trying so hard to picture what it would be like when he was this age. How he would look, what his personality would be like and now I find myself trying so hard to remember what he used to be like. Trying so hard to remember what he felt like in my arms when he was little, how he used to sound, things like that. It gets harder and harder everyday. I always have these thoughts about all my kids but it always hits me a little harder on their birthday.

We had another bounce house this year, that is what we have done every year for all the kids for the last 3 or 4 years. James had the option of renting out Classic water slides, renting out Pirates Island or going anywhere he wanted. He said "mom... you know all I want is a bouncy house so I can play with my friends in the backyard." So that is what we did. We had a great turn out and it was a lot of fun! I cant believe how many friends this kid has!! Thank you to all those who made it, you make Jameson's birthday so much fun every year!

Dear Jameson,
your a good boy. I love you more than you will ever know, I look up to you and hope I can be a carefree spirit like you. You are so smart, too smart for your own good sometimes. Your such a good friend and an even better son.
Love always,
Mom

Goodbye Hot Summer Days...

This weekend was a busy one, we are clinging on to every last warm day outside. I absolutely LOVE fall but, I despise all of winter except for on Christmas day. Our Fall season is so short here, seems like it goes from HOT to COLD from one day to the next. I am not looking forward to being stuck inside the house with 4 stir crazy kids! Every year I tell myself that I will do better and I will get out and make the best of it and every year I just hide away, in hibernation. I am going to try my hardest not to bring my poor kids down with me this year!! Until then... We will make the most of our short fall. Here is how our week went...
Last Sunday we went fly fishing in the Provo River. It was beautiful! The leaves were changing and it was still so warm! While Rory fished the kids, my mother and I went for a walk....

Jameson wanted to take this little thing home.

Ava is getting so big! She is holding her head up like a champ, especially for being so small!
She smiles at everyone and she has the BIGGEST dimples for such a little face!

Thursday we went to the ZoO to see the BABY ElePHanT!! I could have sat there for hours watching her! She must have been the cutest dang thing EVER!

Rori & Ava had their first merry go round ride!

Today Chanel went on her first field trip!! We went to the Tracy Aviary...

Hopefully we have a lot more to tell you about soon!

Score 1 for the good guys!!

Jameson is playing soccer this year and he LOVES it!! He has a permanent smile on his face every time he is playing, and to make things even better Rory is the coach!! A little while after we had signed up we got a call saying that they didn't have a coach for the team and they were wondering if we could do it. I went ahead and took it upon myself to sign up Rory and asked my neighbor if her husband would sign up as well since our boys were on the same team. That way we would have 2 guys out there that didn't know what they were doing. To my surprise Rory and Josh have done a wonderful job! We have quite the team full of strong little players! Jameson managed to make 2 of the 6 goals this game and last game he made the only 2 we got! It is so exciting to watch the kids play, I have turned into one of those TOTALLY obnoxious moms on the sidelines yelling at the top of my lungs! But don't worry, I am never mean and I am always so proud of our team, it is just too fun to see them out there to be quiet.
Jameson is #3

Labor day weekend and first day of school!!

Chanel started school yesterday! She was very excited and loves school. She especially loves Miss Lorrain, her teacher. She came home teaching me all sorts of new things and singing new songs. It is so fun to see her learning so much!
She had to take a teddy bear with her to her first day.

For Labor day weekend we went to Bear Lake with some of our friends. It was a very long dirty weekend but so much fun! By Monday I thought if I didn't get everyone home and showered, cleaned and disinfected something would start to grow on us!! We haven't played in the sand and dirt for so long. It was a blast and I think we will be going again next year for sure!!

Tweeter and Do G relaxing on the boat.

We had some pirate friend bury some treasure on the beach! All the kids got to dig it up, it was so fun!! Until it broke out into an all out brawl over who got the gold, the necklaces, the rings etc. GREED!

Jameson's favorite part... the carp.

All 3 of my girls asleep on the boat together. So cute, to bad they have to wake up!

The kids would sit on the front of the boat so Rory could go over the waves and throw them all in the air!! Scared the crap out of me!

Ava's makeshift sunshade.

This is how the locals get their boats in and out of the water because the beaches are so shallow! I loved it, they all had the EXACT same tractor, red Farmhills. Not 1 john deer!!

Jameson gettin buried by the kids!!

5 minutes NO FIGHTING!! Nice. Right after this Rori Ana threw sand at Chanel.

Jameson and Tweeter could play on the beach forever. They love it.
