Soon to be a MOMMY!

Our sweet little Lola is 7 weeks pregnant today! We are so excited to see those little puppies! I am getting so nervous, I can imagine how she feels! The puppies are going to be so tiny, so this is all going to be a little more risky than if it were a larger breed dog. Starting next week I will have to take her temp (don't ask how) 3 times a day. Once the temp drops below 98 degrees that means the puppies will be here within 24 hrs. We have her "delivery room" ready with all of the supplies we might need! That includes Her whelping box (or delivery bed) dental floss for their belly buttons, latex gloves in case I need to assist in pulling a pup out, heat pads to warm the puppies (they HAVE to stay very warm!) , rags, towels, a little bulb to suction, little bottles in case they cant latch on right away etc. I am going to try to sit out of as much as I can but like I said this is going to be a little bit of a risky delivery. I am as prepared as I can be. Worse case scenario, I will have to rush her to the vet and they will do an emergency c section. Lets hope for the best for her. I am also very excited to have 2 little puppies in our home!! I will let you know how it is going for the next week. We should have puppies by Jan 14th!!!! EEEEEEEEEEE! I cant wait!!

Merry Christmas!

I know I'm a little late, but here are some pictures of our Christmas! We had a wonderful time this year, Santa was VERY generous! The kids got a little spoiled. It is so fun to see how excited they get, every year its a little more exciting because they understand more of what is going on. We love that Grandma & Grandpa come every year to see the kids open their gifts, you too Becca & Curtis! It was so nice spending time with our family, we didn't get to see mine because they did Christmas in Phoenix this year, where it was 76*!! No fair. I cant believe next year we will have 4 kids!!! Every year is going to just get better and better! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a great New Year!!! I cant believe its 2009??!!

SOON TO BE RELEASED IN EARLY AUGUST 2009!!!! BABY ROYCE #4 !!!!!!

Y That's right! Were pregnant... AGAIN!! And just to answer the questions I keep on getting, YES this was PLANNED, YES we REALLY are pregnant, NO I'm not KIDDING and NO I DIDN'T start having kids when I was 12!! Not to offend anybody who has said these things (which is pretty much everyone we have told). I just wanted to clarify things up first. We first brought the idea up about 4 months ago and we kind of tried to talk ourselves out of it, but I just felt the time was now, I don't know why??! My head kept saying what the hell are you thinking???! but my heart was telling me now is the time. So we decided to just go ahead and jump in feet first! We just found out a few weeks ago, the first couple tests I took were saying negative but I knew I was. I have been pregnant for almost 4 years straight now! So I retook the test and sure enough it was a + ! So, here we go again or should I say we are just going to continue? Since our youngest in only 8 months old (not even 8 months yet!) They will be 15 months apart. That means I will have 2 in diapers and I will be carrying them both around on my hips. Despite the fact that this is purely insane, we are very excited!! We just told our close family over Christmas so now I am letting everyone else know. I know that it is a little early in the pregnancy to be announcing and I am not going to lie, I am very nervous and worried. But all we can do is hope for the best, and it is just not like me to hide something like this inside when all I want to do is yell it out to everyone. It is just too good of news and we are way to excited to keep it in! So we will just ask for blessings for our newest little member of the family. I will be 8 weeks along Wed. and our due date is Aug 13. I doubt I will hold on for the full 40 weeks but I am sure going to try. I was induced with my first 2 and went a whole month early with the last one. I don't mind being a couple weeks early, but I most definitely don't want to have this one as early as Rori Ana. It was just too scary for me!! Even though we were blessed because she came out perfectly healthy, just small. I was just such a wreck! And we are hoping for a boy but wont find out until the little one makes its first appearance, we did that with Rori Ana and it was so much fun! I don't want to find out. Plus it makes me smirk a little to know that I am torturing so many people with anticipation ; ) I have been a little more emotional with this pregnancy, mainly because I know this WILL be the LAST! It didn't really hit me until I told Rory because every time I tell him I am pregnant he jumps around like a kid in a candy store and he will come scoop me up in his arms and just get this smile that goes from ear to ear and kiss me a hundred times!! He is always so excited and I absolutely LOVE seeing him that way, he has never gotten excited like that over anything else. EVER. The only time I ever get to see him that way is when I tell him I'm pregnant. So it really upset me when I saw his reaction and knew that was the last time I will probably ever see him like that. It is the last time I get to take a test and sit there biting my nails waiting for the answer. This is going to be my last pregnancy and I absolutely LOVE being pregnant!! I am so happy when I am pregnant and having that feeling of a little person that I already love so much growing inside of me is never going to happen again. This is it. Sooner than I think, I will no longer hear little pitter patters and baby talk and have exciting little first moments. It is all so very sad to me. And I am 100% positive this will be our last. I cant just keep on having kids?! And I feel like with every one I have I am taking a little away from the rest because it is just that much more of me that needs to be shared. So in a way this is the beginning of an end. But this is also going to be a whole new chapter in my life! It is going to be time to stop having babies and start raising them! I can focus on just trying to raise good, loving people! It will also be kind of neat to look at my kids and know that this is what my family is going to be forever. To know these are all the ingredients to our perfect little family! Rory, me and our 4 kids! Of course we will always be spicing things up a little with all of our animals that we consider a part of our family as well.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! I will put a post of ours on soon!

Croup for Christmas?

A couple days ago, I noticed my little Rori Ana getting a little bit of a cold. Nothing to worry about, not bad at all. Then last night we went to go watch Bolt 3D, which is a cute movie by the way. And by the time we were done with our movie I was very concerned because Rori Ana was having a hard time breathing and we all know she has given me a breathing scare before!! And she had a really raspy little cough. So we went to the instacare around 6:30 and by the time we got there she had a fever even though I had given her Tylenol and Motrin, and she was doing even WORSE! She had that famous little cough that sound like a little seal and I knew right then what she had... Croup. UGH! She looked so terrible! I checked all my kids in and they had me give them all steroids, the older ones weren't sick but we did it just as a precaution since the steroids wouldn't hurt anything. But Rori Ana decided to throw up all the meds we had just given to her, so then we had to do it by shot. Poor, poor baby! I know all you mommy's know what its like to see your babies in so much pain and see them look at you like "why are you doing this to me!" They feel bad as it is and we have to go make it worse. Well, then her breathing got worse and they had a ventilator blowing vaporized Epinephrine in a cool mist to clear her airways. She started to do better so around 9:30 they said we could go home, after my kids had ran up and down the waiting room and infected themselves with whatever the hell else is in there! But when we started leaving Rori did it again. She wouldn't breath right, so the doctor and I sat outside with her for a few minutes and decided I would be spending some time outside that night. Last night was AWFUL!! She was in so much pain, and she would NOT take her Motrin and Tylenol easy so I there I was torturing her again. And every time she would get that riled up there went her breathing! The only thing I could do was open up our bedroom window completely (its pretty big) and walk back and forth, back and forth.... The walking calmed her down and the cool air helped her breath. I was so tired but at least she was calm and sleeping. Then every time I would pass by Rory (Big Rory) sleeping so sound I would just want to just KICK HIM!!! I wanted to yell at him for sleeping through my poor baby screaming what little she could in pain and tell him to get up and do something! Don't just lay there!!! DO SOMETHING!! LOOK CONCERNED, SOMETHING!!! Isn't that terrible? I know better, but I hadn't gotten one wink of sleep and I think I was just jealous. I know he has to work all day today and he wouldn't have known what to do. Then he woke up this morning (so rested) and I was sitting up with Rori Ana on my chest and he kissed me and asked if we were ok. I feel better now, I'm not thinking about killing him anymore. But I am running on no sleep right now and I have been so tired anyway so this is really killing me. Rori Ana is sleeping all bundled up next to our open window so she can still breath and I'm chasing Jameson and Chanel around the house trying to get all my stuff done for the day. Okay, okay, I'm done venting now. I love being a mom and being the only one who knows how to make my babies happy. Or at least as happy as they can be. So I am going to go continue with my day.

To Rory: I'm sorry honey, I would never really kick you in your sleep. I love you.

Jameson's first... Sleep over?

So last Thursday we tried to have a sleepover with the neighbor boys. It was so fun! It started about 7 pm. We had dinner first which consisted of hot dogs, bread and A LOT of ketchup! (It was what they wanted). Then Julie (Bubba's mom) sent them with a bag of CANDY!!! Thanks by the way for that Julie, I OWE you one BIG time!! After they fed themselves full with sugar they ran around the island in my kitchen like maniacs for a couple of hours! It was crazy, but I just sat there and directed traffic and whenever a head on collision would occur I would pick them up and send them in the right direction. It really wasn't all that bad! Then we watched "Cars". After that we decided to go to sleep, at about 10:30 the first one wanted to go home. Tanner said he just really wanted to sleep at his house, then the next one was Bubba, he said he needed to go home. Then Ryland and so on and so on. Pretty soon we had all the parents there picking up their little ones and taking them home. Out of 5 kids the only one who stayed was Tyson. And he was very adamant that he WAS staying the WHOLE night!!! He did great! I kept waking up freaking out, thinking he had escaped and tried to run home so I would run downstairs and peek in on them and he was sound asleep! So I did it!! Kind of. But with no major injuries and no escapees! Not too bad? And the kids had fun!

All I Want For Christmas Is My 2 Front Teeth!!

So I'm a little sad today because last night Rori Ana's little tooth popped through and a few days ago I noticed Jameson is LOSING his 2 bottom teeth! That's SAD!! That means my babies are growing up!! Not a big deal to some but a HUGE deal to me!!

James wanted me to take a picture their teeth. You cant even tell on either of them!

Last Monday we went to Grandmas to make gingerbread houses and decorate her tree! It was fun and MESSY!!

Notice Rod's leg lamp!!

GiRLs niGHt oUt!!!!

Okay... I realize that this was probably a really BAD thing to start, but what the heck?! Today Chanel and I had a day at the salon! I used to work at a salon (back in my independent days) and I had moms and daughters coming in all the time! Usually they were at least 6 yrs old, but Chanel LOVES doing girly things!!! She had so much fun!! First we did our MAKEUP and painted our TOES (at home). Then we were off to the SALON!! Where we got our HAIR CUT and our NAILS painted!! Chanel was in heaven! She kept saying she was a princess! It was all very exciting!

*****************************************************************************

And here is my "Thank You"!!! We went to the store right after to buy stuff to make gingerbread houses but we didn't even get 10 feet into the store!! We were on our way in and Chanel dropped a piece of paper, nothing important, just a receipt from who knows when and it flew under a parked truck, so I told her we will get another one.... OH NO!! She threw herself down on the ground right there in the crosswalk in front of the store with about 20 witnesses!!! (lucky for her!) And she would NOT get up! She went completely limp and was screaming at the top of her lungs!! And to top it off some JERK who apparently wasn't paying any attention ( I don't know how the heck he didn't hear her!) Almost hit us right there in the CROSSWALK!! He was turning and was looking for cars, not people! So I YELLED at him!! Not very nice of me. Then when we got inside she wouldn't get into the basket!! She would kick it away or kick me or just throw herself out! So I thought... Why should I go in and be so nice to buy here a gingerbread house and a butt load of candy if this is what I get??!! Nope, I walked out and told her I was going to show THIS to Santa.......

IT'S TWINS!!!!

That's right!!! I am the soon to be, proud GRANDMA of two little puppies!!! I took our little Lola in yesterday for an ultrasound and they saw 2 very tiny, itty bitty, extremely fast little heart beats! The vet says that these puppies are going to be so small! He has never seen anything like these two before! He said he really wants to see them right after they are born. That would make about the 100th person who wants to be there either while they are being born or in the "waiting room" which will be our living room. Anyway, the puppies look healthy and so does mommy! Her due date is January 10th! I just cant wait!! If you know me at all, puppies, or any baby animal for that matter is like a drug to me! I just cant get enough of them!! I am completely addicted!! So to know that soon I am going to have 2 of my little granddoggies running around is just too much!! I will let you all know how she is doing (since I'm sure you are all just as excited as I am!!). Rory says I'm nuts, but I know he is just as excited! He called my twice while I was in the waiting room to see what the vet said and then as I was leaving! And he was the one who wanted a Yorkie in the first place! He just doesn't like to admit it, so I know he is quietly counting down the days with me!! Here are some cute pictures of mommy to be!

I had to shave her stomach so when the puppies get here they don't get hairballs! She looks kind of dorky right now.

I took pictures of her next to a can because that is how most breeders take pictures of Yorkie's, just so you can get an idea of their size.

Jameson's BMX Race!

Jameson did AMAZING!!!!I cant believe how well he did! On Friday, he did... ok. He didn't seem too into it? He was just kind of dinkin' around, not really paying attention to the track or what he was doing much less how fast he was going! So we were kind of thinking maybe he wasn't going to take this very far. Saturday, on his first race he got 2nd place out of 8. His second race he got 3rd, which put him in the SEMI FINALS!! And he got 3rd in the semi's which then put him in the FINALS!!!!! Needless to say, he took 6th place out of 22 riders!!! Not to bad for his first time, and he was on the WRONG bike!!!! All these little kids had these decked out little bmx bikes and we just threw James out there on his regular ol' bike! James also raced on Sunday, he made it to the finals again but I'm not sure what place he took? I think he got 8th out of 19 riders? And his best friends Tanner and Tyson raced with him on Saturday, they were all so cute! Its amazing how these little boys go out there with no fear what so ever! Chanel got to race in the "Big Wheels", which is for younger kids that aren't ready to race yet, the parents just push them around the track, but she was so excited!! And she got a "Frofree!" (trophy). She was showing everyone, whether she knew them or not! I loved it and I cant wait for the next one! Jameson's other little friend Bubba will be racing with them too! So we have 5 new little bmx riders!! Watch out here comes some serious competition!! Now we just need to get ready for his next motocross race coming up in 2 weeks! I thought we were going to settle down this winter but it looks like we will have races every other weekend now, if not every weekend!!!

My camera has really been acting up, sorry about the yucky pictures!

This Going to be a LONG Winter!!!!!!!!

So sorry I have not posted or even gotten on our blog in so long! Like I said a while ago, its going to get pretty boring around here... I feel like I haven't had a chance to sit or do much of anything and yet I have been in my PJ's for the past 2 and a half weeks straight!!!! And so have my kids! (I am not going down alone!) Last night was the first night I have ventured out of my house other than to take Jameson to school (which is around the corner) and we went to the movies. We saw Madagascar 2, it was kind of nice to be out in the world but I couldn't wait to get home!!! I was freezing the whole time! And everyone is so RUDE this time of year, has everyone forgotten what the holidays are really about? Shootings at Toys R Us, and being trampled at Walmart??!! But I need to get over it. My poor family! We have no food in the house and I CANNOT bring myself to even go to the grocery store!!! In my defense, Rory has been working really late, he has been going into work around 8 and not coming home until 8 or 9 that evening! So I'm a little beat. But I think for the sake of my children's mental health and mine, I better start getting out of the house! We are all going a little stir crazy in here! So this weekend we are going to Jameson's BMX race and then all next week I will get my shopping done (hopefully), and I would like to thank my sister Kristi for all the great ideas too! I want to go to the "oh sweet Sadie show" and the art show. I have to have a positive outlook this winter or I don't know that I will be able to live another 5 or 6 months!!!! I just absolutely HATE the cold weather!!! And to top it off, its just cold! No pretty snow or nice rain showers... Just dark, gloomy, ugly, dirty cold! uugghh! Okay, I'm going to stop now... I WILL HAVE A GOOD OUTLOOK ON THIS YEARS WINTER.... (I'm just going to keep repeating it). Anyway, I will stop venting now and I will let you all know how Jameson's race goes this weekend! And I will start getting out of my house so I have something to write about. And sorry to all those Utah winter lovers...

Our Little Girls!!

I was going through our pictures and just realized how much our little girls looked so much alike! I know they have there differences, but they sure do look similar don't they? I just have to say, I was petrified of having girls, I didn't know what to expect and I could only think of the dramatic little fits when I found out we were expecting our little Chanel, but it has been so fun! They bring so much joy to my life! Jameson is still my little man, he is and always will be a "Mommas boy" but seeing him with his sisters is amazing, having girls is a whole new world for me! I have all brothers and I still wonder what I got myself into?! We didn't find out what we were having while I was pregnant with Rori Ana (best thing I have ever done!) And when she came out and they yelled out "Its a... little girl!" I started bawling! I absolutely LOVE my baby girls! I couldn't imagine my life without them! Just wanted to show of my princesses!
Chanel Is the one with a beenie on.

Jameson... Jameson... Jameson...

James has quite the imagination. Today he was playing "dogs" with all of the dogs, well I looked over and he had his face in Tweeder's butt and was sniffing! I yelled at him and asked him what he was doing??!! He told me he was playing dogs and that is what dogs do! I told him no more sniffing butts, that it was gross and we cannot play dogs like that! He just started laughing! So I pulled out the video camera and asked him about it, he was so detailed talking to the camera telling me that is what dogs do and he wasn't being Jameson he was being a dog! Later that night we went out to the hot tub (soooo nice) and he had two cups he put them both in the water upside down so that when he flipped them over two big bubbles would pop up out of the water, about the second time he did it he said "Mom these look just like your things!" What things I asked him (dumb question) "Your boobies!" I just told him not to be inappropriate and dropped it. I didn't want to pay to much attention because whenever I do it back fires and he does whatever it is even worse. He is such a weirdo! Creep more like it! I'm not ready for all this!

Nothing New Here...

I guess no news is good news! We haven't done much so I haven't posted in a while. I told you we would get pretty boring when it got cold. I have pretty much been hiding out in my house trying to keep warm but Rory says I'm killing him slowly with heat so now he is running around half naked (not to bad to look at) and I am bundled up with PJ's and this crazy adult size sleep sack like the ones you put babies in when they are itty bitty. Except I'm not itty bitty so I look a really ridiculous!! Thanks Julie for getting me that, I love it!! I guess there are a few things I can tell you... We went up to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho last weekend aaahhhh... It was awesome! We did absolutely nothing at all. Our friends have a really nice "cabin" more like a HUGE house up there so we just hung out with them and watched movies while all of our kids ran around like little maniacs! Then when we got back, Lola, our little 3 pound Yorkie was in heat, so I found her a little boyfriend... more like a one night stand!! I felt awful!!! I took her to some house she had never been to and out came this little tiny not quite 3 pound "stud" he loved her!! And then we just left her there to do what it is that they do! And THEN I paid them!! UUUGGGHHH! I feel so bad, so I have been giving her extra treats and love for the terrible things I have done to her. But in about 9 weeks depending on whether she took or not we should have no more than 3 teeeny tiiiny iiiitty biiiity puppies!!!!! Probably weighing in at 1-2 ounces!! This should be fun! I absolutely LOVE puppies! How could you not? And then a couple of days ago Rory came home with our new bed! He made it and it looks really nice only one little problem... It wouldn't fit through the front door!! He thought our doors were 7 ft. tall, they aren't. They are 6 ft. 8 in. and the bed was enormous so after leaving it out on our front porch for a night he had to bring home his saw and cut about 8 or 9 inches off just to get it through the door! It looks great!! Now I just need to find a nice new bed set!! Yeah, shopping!!!

Love at first sight?

Lola is the one one the right.

I will get a better picture of the final product!

Might be a little useful

Some of you may have already seen this but for those of you who have not, it may be a little useful to you. The state of Utah is offering a service that would let you know when a sex offender moves into your neighborhood. They will just send it to you by email including their name, address and a map showing you exactly where it is and what they were convicted of (don't worry they don't go into any detail or anything). All you have to do is go to http://corrections.utah.gov/ and scroll down to where it says SONAR (Sex Offender Notification and Registration) and register! That's it! You can never be too careful!

Vicks can be used for all sorts of things!

The kids and I have had a little bit of a cold lately and I absolutely LOVE Vick's! So whenever I have a reason to use it I do! Well... I guess Chanel loves it too. I walked into my room today and Chanel had the Vick's and rubbed it ALL OVER Rori Ana's head!!! It was everywhere! And Rori was just giggling away. I felt so bad, she was all greasy and oily and I cant get it out! I haven't tried anything harsher than baby shampoo but it didn't even touch it. But on the bright side this works great as a palmade, or some kind of crazy gel! Just look at Chanel's masterpiece created on Rori's head!

CuTE LitTle BuGgeRs!!
